About the Founder
Kristina Soshkina holds degrees in Law and Psychology and has worked as a legal professional in the social sector for 16 years. She teaches law at the university level, conducts academic research, and publishes articles in legal and interdisciplinary journals. Her experience includes public-health and legal-social projects, as well as direct work with individuals in difficult life situations. Kristina founded High Hopes, a volunteer crisis center for women who have experienced violence, and continues to volunteer in hospice and crisis-support services. She is also a trained mediator.
Soul&Law grew out of this work. The project integrates her legal expertise, psychological training, and practical experience to examine how justice affects people not only formally, but personally. Kristina views compassion as a professional competence essential to responsible legal practice.
